I know I'm going to hear about this one from some of you. Two great restaurants are in Colorado - both in Denver. One is the "Buckhorn Exchange" and the other is "The Fort." They specialize in colorado game; bison, elk, Colorado lamb, and quail. Venison is offered at the "Buckhorn" and both places will have exotic specials like wild boar (although I asked the server at the "Buckhorn" if boar raised domestically could still be considered "wild") and yak. The two restaurants are expensive, but are well worth it.

South Asian Foods is hidden between a gas station, pawn shop and Target tucked into a corner between Highway 694 and Central Avenue in Fridley, Minnesota. I have done a lot of travelling and eating in a lot of places but this place captures the flavors of the Indian Subcontinent like no place else in the US. - By the way, I think I am in love with AB.

World's best restaurant, two words: Mama's, Maui. Period. 2nd best, Zindrick's, Czech Village, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Love your shows! We TIVO them & have our own "Bourdain" marathons. Being a foreign service couple who's widely traveled also, we find ourselves as Tony's kindred spirits & love his down-to-earth, food-of-, for- and by-the people approach. No hoity-toity, froo-frah for us! Keep up the great armchair, blue jeans travel service & pls. rerun the Hawaii show asap (we had a power outage that night! No aloha!). Mahalo, Big Kahuna of the kitchen & beyond!

I have a small restaurant in the hell hole of the United States...Niagara Falls. These people are so ass backwards when it comes to food. All they eat is Italian, pizza and wings. Heaven forbid someone like myself should come in and try something new ! I challange you to come here and dream up a menu that even these people can deal with. No pizza, no wings, no Italian. I dont think that it can be done.

Tony has his ideas of waiter/waitresses. This is my idea of a "sous chef."
The recipe for a “sous chef” As given by Food Network (in association with various culinary institutes) 1 cup of seasoned Good Looks, A pinch of Grit, 2 cups of “I don’t give a shit”, and $30,000 in debt.

Seems Mr. Bourdain is a fan of Avec and not much else here... There is a dispute to be settled, though. Chicagoans are serious about their frites, and there are three main contenders: Frites finished in duck fat at Doug's Dogs: Frites with truffles at Sola (which is also a nice place, by the way): and frites at the Hopleaf Tavern. My vote is with the tavern, since they have a zillion (mostly Belgian) beers and wonderful large pots of mussels to go with them. It's in my neighborhood.
I will personally spot Mr. Bourdain dinner at all three places, just so that he can be the judge and also weigh in on the stupid foie gras ban. No, I'm not feeding the whole crew. Nice try.

I have read Tony's books and followed him throughout the world on the Travel Channel but never was I as moved as when I watched the episode on New Orleans. Tony, you have shown us the resilience and spirit of the American people to rebuild, despite our government's horrific neglect of its own citizens. And thank you for making peace with Emeril.

I am one of Tony's big fans ever since he started televising your food escapades around the world, A Cook's Tour, and now No Reservations.
The countries he has visited have certainly good food and places to share to all the world. You have also visited a lot of Asian countries. The question I have is: The Philippines, considered the melting pot of Asia because of its successful mix of Eastern and Western cultures and cuisine, is one interesting country to visit and covered in Tony's shows. Andrew Zimmern has visited this country, of which I was born and raised for 22 years. He barely scratched the surface in the food and culture of my original country. Andrew's episode was good, but I think that Tony can do a better job in exposing the real character of the country's gastronomic and scenic delights? So why not visit the Philippines and expose all the tastiness and beauty of all its varied foods and cultures? I will be glad to help in this quest. Thank you, Fernando

I think Anthony would very much enjoy our little island in the Southern Caribbean. It's amazing, people here still hunt iguana, eat mollusks that look like something you would have found a million years ago! Can you believe they still make their own charcoal here!!!! Enjoy goat, concha, parunchi cu funchi! On the other side of the spectrum we have a fantastic AWARD WINNING culinary school where are locals become amazing chefs and the international flair is next to none (at least that is what the tourists tell us!) Not bad for an amazing island, no larger than Staten Island (where hubby is originally from) called Bonaire

What a beautiful part of the country the south is. So rich in history it makes your head swim. Kind of like the East coast, be it Philly or Delaware or even Boston. I just have one question, what the hell is up with shrimp and grits? Personally, I can't stand grits. Maybe it comes from my childhood, or maybe it looks like stuff I would feed a baby. The chocolate cake sweetened with Coca Cola sounds good, I'm just not so sure about a cake with mayo. The redeeming factor is the oysters. I've never seen oysters steamed like that under a sack. Something to try if I ever make it down that way in my lifetime.
